1920s Art Deco Earrings

The moment I spotted these old cake fork ends, I knew they needed to become earrings.

Made from 1920s Art Deco cake forks, they have a fan like shape and all those details that aren't found in modern pieces. Every line and curve was already there, just waiting for a second life.

I always wonder about pieces like these. Did they come out for special occasions? Sit in a dining room cabinet for decades? Get passed down through a family before eventually finding their way to me?

Whatever their story was before, it's definitely changed now.
