1945 Australian Sixpence Necklace

1945. What a year to have been around! 

The year World War II finally ended, and here we have a genuine Australian sixpence from that very year. Imagine the pockets it's been in, the things it's bought and the conversations it's been part of.

I've given this old coin a new purpose, sitting inside a decorative Zamak alloy flower setting and hanging from a 60cm stainless steel snake chain.

Not bad for a coin that's been around for over 80 years!
