A little 1949 Australian threepence that has already lived one life, now sitting inside a decorative surround that had a completely different life of its own ,as the tip of an old souvenir spoon.

Neither needed to be thrown away, they just needed each other.

And now, instead of a coin sitting in a drawer and an old spoon piece sitting in my stash, they're off for another round together.
