1950 Australian Sixpence Necklace

1950! This old sixpence has had quite the makeover. 

There's something about mixing metals that I absolutely love, and this necklace has four different tones working together beautifully.

I've taken a genuine 1950 Australian sixpence, placed it inside an antique-coloured bezel, then added a decorative silver-tone Zamak alloy surround.

Finished with a 75cm gold-coloured stainless steel chain, it's got plenty of vintage character.

And that old sixpence? Still doing a pretty good job of looking fabulous after 76 years!
