→ Handmade from two vintage Rodd Royal Rose cake fork handles dating back to the 1950s. Once part of a beautiful old silverware set, these handles have been reshaped into something that can be worn and appreciated all over again.

• Beautiful raised rose detailing
→ The original Royal Rose pattern is what makes this bracelet so special. Raised roses, little flowers and decorative scrollwork cover the handles. There's so much detail in this old silverware.

• Two sterling silver pearl charms
→ Hanging between the handles are two lovely little pearl charms with sterling silver components. I chose these because they sit so naturally alongside the old fashioned rose pattern.

• Formed by hand
→ Each cake fork handle has been shaped into the curve of a bracelet, keeping the original decorative ends at the front. The silverware itself is still very much the heart of this piece.

• Extra strong magnetic clasp
→ A practical addition that makes putting your bracelet on and taking it off so much easier. No struggling with tiny clasps when you're on your own.

• One of a kind
→ Original 1950s silverware, two pearl charms and a little time at my workbench have come together to create a bracelet that won't be identically repeated.

🤎The Molly Made Story

Made back in the 1950s, they have the most beautiful raised rose pattern. I can only imagine the care that went into creating silverware with so much detail, especially something as ordinary as a cake fork.

And that's what I love about these old pieces. They weren't always considered special. They were simply used, enjoyed and eventually put away.

From someone's cake forks all those years ago to a piece of handmade jewellery today.
