🤎Features & What You'll Love
• Genuine 1961 Australian shilling
→ Pre-decimal pocket change from the days of pounds, shillings and pence.
• That fabulous ram's head
→ The old Australian shilling featured the Merino ram and he's far too good-looking to be forgotten in a coin tin.
• Decorative Zamak alloy surround
→ The open scrollwork gives the coin a bit of grunt without hiding what this necklace is really about that old shilling.
• From near the end of an era
→ Australian shillings were last minted in 1963, so this 1961 coin comes from right near the end of their story.
• 75cm stainless steel chain
→ A longer length that makes this one easy to throw on and wear.

🤎The Molly Made Story
This shilling dates to 1961, just a couple of years before the last Australian shillings were minted in 1963. Back then it was everyday money. Someone probably handed it across a shop counter without giving that ram a second thought.
Zamak surround. I love how the scrollwork almost looks like it belongs with the coin.
And I think the ram looks much better hanging around your neck than sitting forgotten in a drawer.Â
Not Mass Made. Made to Matter.Â

A 1961 shilling, one very handsome ram and a second life that definitely wasn't part of the original plan.Â
