This 1962 sixpence comes from a time when these little coins were still being carried in pockets and used as everyday money.

More than 60 years later, I've set it into this beautifully detailed flower surround and given it a new purpose.

These coins may no longer be minted or used, but that doesn't mean their story has to disappear.

Now this one can be worn, admired and carried forward for another generation.
