🤎Features & What You'll Love
• Genuine 1966 Australian round 50 cent coin
→ A piece of Australian history from the very first year of decimal currency. These round 50 cent coins were only minted in 1966, making them rather special.
• 80% silver coin
→ Unlike today's 50 cent coins, the original 1966 round coin contains 80% silver. A lovely piece of Australian currency history worth holding onto.
• Wear it either way
→ The coin is attached so you can choose which side faces out. Queen Elizabeth II on one side or the Australian coat of arms on the other. Two different looks from the same bracelet.
• Chunky stainless steel rolo links
→ A good, solid bracelet made from large stainless steel rolo links.Â

🤎The Molly Made Story
1966 was a big year for Australian money. We changed over to decimal currency, and these round 50 cent coins made their first appearance.
But they didn't last long. They were only minted that one year, and with 80% silver in them, they became worth keeping for more than just their face value.
I've taken one of these old coins and made it into a chunky bracelet using stainless steel rolo links.
I especially like that you can wear either side of the coin facing out. No right or wrong way, just whatever takes your fancy.
A good, solid piece of jewellery with Australian history attached.
