1969 Tangier by Oneida Necklace

OMG, this one is exactly why I love creating one-of-a-kind pieces.

It started with part of a 1969 Tangier spoon handle by Oneida. Beautiful on its own, but it needed something more, then came the old buffet fork, hand-shaped and paired with repurposed beads that seemed made for each other.

Different pieces from different lives, brought together into something completely new. I couldn't make another one exactly like this even if I tried.

It's quirky, full of character, and the sort of necklace that makes people ask, "Where did you get that?"

Some pieces come together exactly as planned.

Others sit on my workbench while I move things around, trying different combinations until something finally clicks, this necklace was one of those pieces.

A vintage spoon handle, an old fork and a handful of repurposed beads that somehow found their way together.
