The Native American figure has a strong, striking presence, and the more closely you look, the more detail you see, right through to the engraving and scrollwork in the original spoon handle.

I simply formed the sterling silver handle into a band and kept that beautiful figure as the focus.

It's exactly why I love working with old silverware sometimes my job is simply to find a new way for the original detail to be seen.
