The moment I saw the flowers winding their way down the silver, I knew this wasn't a piece that belonged hidden away in a cutlery drawer.

Originally part of a sterling silver spoon made by Reed & Barton, this beautiful handle comes from their Les Cinq Fleurs pattern, created between 1900 and 1940.

More than a century ago this spoon would have been part of someone's table. Today, the handle has been given a completely different purpose, allowing those stunning detail to be seen and enjoyed all over again.
