šŸ¤ŽFeatures & What You'll Love

• Made from an old sterling silver spoon
→ And this one had far too much going for it to end up forgotten in a drawer.

• That gold wash bowl
→ The gold against the sterling silver is what makes this one stand out.

• Beautiful old engraved detail
→ The bowl has an engraved floral design along with the word/name ā€œHannibalā€. Who Hannibal was, I have absolutely no idea, but I’d love to know the story behind it.

• Twisted sterling silver handle
→ I’ve formed the spoon so that twisted handle comes around and just meets the side of the bowl.

• Around 1890–1900
→ From what I can tell, this spoon dates to around the late Victorian/early Edwardian period. That makes it well over 100 years old and still going strong.

• One of a kind
→ There won’t be another one exactly like it. The spoon took care of that part for me.

šŸ¤ŽThe Molly Made Story

Sterling silver, a twisted handle, that gorgeous gold wash bowl and an engraving that includes Hannibal. There’s a story sitting right there.

I’ve kept as much of the original spoon as possible and hand formed it into a ring, with the twisted handle wrapping around to just touch the bowl.

It’s old, it has marks from its previous life, and I have no idea who Hannibal was. And really, that’s part of what I love about using these old pieces.

More than 100 years later, it gets another go around this time on someone’s finger.

Not Mass Made. Made to Matter.Ā
