The engraving, all that old scrollwork and especially the gold gilt still sitting inside the bowl it deserved to stay together.

So that's exactly what I did.I’ve taken the whole spoon and hand formed it into a saddle ring, keeping all those little signs of what it once was.

I don't want these old pieces looking brand new. I want you to be able to see they've already had a life. That's what makes them interesting.
