This ring began life as a sterling silver spoon crafted by London silversmith Thomas Smily (T&S) during the Georgian era, somewhere between 1790 and 1830. That's over two centuries of history held in a single piece of silver.
Rather than using only part of the spoon, I've created the entire spoon into a saddle ring, with both the bowl and handle to remain part of its story. The handle curves across the top of the bowl, that still shows the original fiddle pattern and hand-finished details.

🤎The Molly Made Story
Before it became a ring, this spoon was already old enough to have witnessed generations come and go.
It survived changing fashions, changing homes and changing owners before finding its way to my workshop. Now its story continues in a completely different form, still useful, still beautiful and still being appreciated every day.
That's one of the things I love most about working with antique silver. Nothing is truly finished. Sometimes it just becomes something new.
🤎Add to your cart: A genuine piece of Georgian silver history, created into a ring that has already spent more than two centuries collecting stories.
