The spoon was made by Watson & Newell Co. of Massachusetts, USA, sometime between the late 1800s and early 1900s. Rather than using just the handle, I hand formed the entire sterling silver spoon into a saddle ring, allowing both the bowl and the floral details to remain part of the story.
The original pattern is full of curves, tiny leaves and a sweeping scroll at the tip of the handle. Once wrapped into a ring, those details wrap beautifully around the finger while the spoon bowl creates a comfortable saddle style.

🤎The Molly Made Story
For well over a hundred years, this spoon lived a completely different life.
It sat at tables, was passed from hand to hand, and somehow survived long enough to find its way into my workshop.
Instead of being melted down or forgotten, it now begins a new chapter as a ring that still carries the shape of its former life.
