A piece that couldn't decide what it wanted to be, so I let it become exactly that.
This necklace began life as a vintage sterling silver spoon bowl.
What I love about pieces like this is that they don't always follow a plan. Sometimes the silver tells you where it wants to go.
The spoon bowl has been shaped by hand, a hammered mixed-metal centrepiece. The contrast between the aged silver, copper detail and textured metal gives the piece its character.
Once this piece finds its forever home, it will never be recreated.
