• Made from a vintage jam spoon bowl
→ The handle may be gone, but that beautiful shovel shaped bowl was far too interesting to leave sitting in my silverware stash.

• Original etched detail
→ The bowl has lovely old etched decoration that I've left exactly as I found it.

• Still very much looks like a spoon
→ And that's intentional. I love that you can look at this necklace and immediately see what it used to be.

• Even the bail came from the spoon
→ I've used part of the original handle to form the loop at the top rather than adding something completely new.

• 60cm stainless steel snake chain
→ Simple, easy to wear and doesn't compete with all that old spoon detail.

That shovel shaped bowl and the old etched detail were the best bits, so I've pretty much let them be.

I removed the handle, kept a small section to make the bail, added a snake chain and that was enough.

You can see exactly what it once was and I don't want to hide that. That's the whole point.
